Food: Located in a prime spot just off of the soccer field, enjoy this happening spot to grab some food and cerveza.  Dona Dora’s offers some good casados (typical Costa Rican meal consisting of Rice, beans, meat or fish, cabbage salad and french fries) and rice plates (rice with shrimp, fish or chicken).  This is a great place to grab some breakfast after some early morning surf and drink one of their great milkshakes or natural fruit drinks.  At night this place has a bar (Bar La Plaza) that serves $1 Old Milwaukee (oh yeah) and a different variety of other beer and mixed drinks.

Dona Dora’s is the only place in town that rents out inner tubes for $20 to tube down the Rio Claro. This is the place to go if you are looking to make the most out of the Rio Claro.
